Expecting...

A friend of mine messaged me via facebook that she and her husband expecting their second child. I was going to say to them that its about time. Their oldest son already turned 4 and its the perfect age gap to have another one, don't you think? Anyway, she dropped me messages last night in yahoo about her new maternity clothing she purchased from VS spring sales. Ah, I'm so happy for her though and I know we all have one wish and that is for a healthy pregnancy all the way. All the best for her and her family - we are just here to support.

Egg hunts 2011

I succeeded eventually. After few years of trying to buy this plastic eggs for the kids to hunt. But, its not completely success though as I wasn't able to buy the rattan baskets that I really want them to have so, hopefully next year it will be perfect, lol. The kids had to use the plastic buckets and had a great time nonetheless. Oh, don't you just love these colourful eggs? I do!

Amazing View from Lewis Castle

It was such a great day out for all of us after being stucked at home organising and sorting out stuff endlessly. We opted Lewis castle on that week because we have been planning to visit the place for years. At last we did it this time and so glad of our decision. The castle offers spectacular history and astonishing views that keep us and the kids interested. Here's the view I took from the top of the castle...ins't it amazing?

Digital tuner comes handy

Since we moved in I have been using my digital tuner as we have 3 different rooms currently using cable. Since our main cable only covers our living rooms TV the digital tuner come so handy. Thanks to it. It enables us to watch TV channels for free so the kids are happy as Larry watching their programmes upstairs in their playroom. Now, we just have to think of buying another one as we plan to have a television in our master bedroom. Ah, I suggested Daddy that his huge desktop can be our TV at the time so that we can save money not buying another screen.

My passion

I wonder what would be life without cameras? Probably more time doing house chores rather than staying up late uploading photos and sharing it online. Ah, this is the way to live these days. So be it! Life would be so boring without a flash. I love photography and most of all I love to be photograph, lol. This is me - take it or leave it!

That's life!

Hubby and I talked about future plans quite often. One of it is buying property in my homeland but that's a long way yet. Right now, we are just happy that we finally moved into a family home. Also, thankful that he still got a job. Anyway, with his sales jobs experienced and background they are stupid not to keep him. Its one thing that had keep hubby and I worried for weeks though. But now its now confirmed that he is in for the next level. Thanks God! Got to cross it out from our bucket list of things to worry. Ah, wish we can just live life stress-free and no problems to think about. But, we simply can't. Ces't la vie!

Few that I hang out with...

"Women are supposed to nurture friendships and families."
-
Emily White

with friends:)

Although Facebook and Twitter encourage us to think we're parts of 'networks', the truth is that we've never been more alone. -Emily White quoted in "This Life". Its undeniably true. However, I am lucky that my life isn't at all about networking friends as I have also friends behind internet that I've hang out with every now and then. We usually have our once a week get together or food feasting and such (or, once in two weeks or a month) but I see them almost everyday. So, I can proudly admit that I live a pretty normal life. And that I'm lucky and grateful.

Might be...

Hubby's birthday is drawing so near and yet I have no idea what to get him. A week after his birthday will be our anniversary too. Oh dear, I'm stuffed! I have looked already in many different shops but nothing really inspire me. I thought of getting him the latest window games but he just ordered a new one yesterday. If I don't come up with exciting ideas then he has to deal with another boring gift - clothes as always. Oh, I'm so crap when it comes to his present, I successively failed for couple years now. Hand on, perdomo cigars champagne might be an option. I'm not sure if he's still up for it. Well, I drop a hint in the morning.

My lalab babies

Maturity is by choice. As I aged I grow and can handle things better. So much stuff I learnt everyday. I know I married so young but it didn't stop me taking the motherhood responsibilities seriously. I think I can claimed that I showcase my parenting well enough to my kids. I know I'm nowhere perfect but I'd give my all. My babies are my everything - can't imagine life without them.

K's coming school trip

Finally got a letter from K's school regarding the staff to bring into their 3 days school trip this coming June. I can see how excited K is that she even started packing her stuff soon as we arrived home and reminded me straight away to buy her a new backpack. Just in time, because I had Osprey Backpacks in mind. Anyway, its going to be her first overnight school trip and I know as a Mum it is natural to get worried. Not because of her safety but how she do things on her own. I mean changing clothes, sleeping and keeping her stuff in place. Oh well, they'll have more than enough staff to help in every 2 kids. She should be alright. If not, she will have to learn.

Dressing up @ Lewish Castle

Finally visited Lewis castle after few years of planning about it. Its only a small one but was an astonishingly beautiful place. The kids had so much fun climbing up and down the stairs and even played dressed up. Here's beautiful captures I proudly share to all of you.

Happy weekend:)

I mean to get some printing postcards to send out to family and relatives on Easter but ended up delaying it again. My bad! I hope I can do it asap. Coming up is Mother's day for Philippines and USA and maybe in some other countries. Ours, here in UK has already finish. For my mum, I am sending her a little something today and hope it will arrive by Sunday. Ah, I got less time than I thought I have but its better late than never. Would love to spend a day with my Mum, one day I will and I know it. Ah, printing cards - I'll have to grab some later after work. I wish you all, my avid readers a great Friday and a wonderful weekend ahead:)

PDA - occasion only!

PDA? Nothing wrong with it - for occasion only, lol. To celebrate St Georgie's day we had a barbecue and painted our faces with a Union flag. The kids had a blast although its only us. As I've mentioned in my other blog, having fun doesn't always mean spending a lot of money. It can be in the comfort of our own home. Or in the park - wherever we felt like it, yeah. So, every year we tend to support the celebration of ST. Georgie's in the town but since I was working Daddy has to take the kids on his own and finished it up with a nice barbecue at home right after my work. What a nice lovely dinner to come home for after work, hey? And of course, a sweet loving husband too:)

Wishing for rain...

Its been so dry lately and all I want and pray for is rain at least for a day. My garden is looking rather drought and my plants are wilting too. I water them everyday and I tend to consumed a lot of water. Glad we have this fast water pump that made it a bit easy. But, we could do a bit of rain once a while too. Yesterday, it rained only a little in the morning and was sunny the whole afternoon. It rather pointless to have a nice weather on weekdays as I am not able to enjoy it as much as I can on weekend. So, please spare us a little rain today. My plants really need it and so do we.
