Reminiscing my wedding day..

Honestly, I have never imagine myself before walking in an aisle wearing a gorgeous wedding gown and had a Gran Wedding. Well, for Philippine standard that was quite a Gran celebration. I had my wedding gown special tailored for me and not to mention my bridesmaid dresses as well. I chosen an amethyst motif - pretty similar to lavender or lilac really. Not much different for sure! Anyway, my bridesmaids dresses was elegantly design and lovely tailored by Cascada which can be found in 2nd Floor Ayala Cebu (if its still there though). Oh, my bridesmaid looked really sophisticatedly beautiful as the bride were. I must say, it was a greatest day of my life!

Here's a picture but sorry its not coloured....

wanting another lens...

I thought my Coach wallet and handbag was more than enough..

Its been a little over 2 years now since I got this flashgun from hubby as his 27th birthday present to me. I so wanted it before and used it on occasion. The last time I took it out from its place was during my daughter's 9th birthday. I had to let hubby see that I used it or he'll moan otherwise. Anyway, it was just last summer when I bought my 50D and love it! So now, I am about to get a new lens pretty soon and I am thinking to get an L-series one - still undecided and torn between 2 lens. Hubby thinks that before I upgrade to a full frame (which I am thinking in my next birthday) that I must invest first on some decent lenses or a full frame DLSR won't be no good at all. Mind you, only 2 out of my 5 lenses that are worth more than few hundred pounds. Guess, hubby has a point! I will see anyway what the luck has got me in few weeks time. Depend on fairy God mother, lol.

Bad Foods + Cheeses

various cheese

Hubby's biggest problem are cheeses. He can't seems to avoid it. I must say, it taste so good as it looks and I'm having trouble avoiding it myself either. Hubby always buy a bulk of different cheeses. Cheddar are my favourite and I tend to eat it with grapes or melons - oh, its scrumptious! Hubby loves blue cheese with crackers or celery. The way he eats it, it looks very tempting. Never tried eating it because the smell itself already keep me off from it. Yucks! Its smells like s***, lol. Anyway, that is why hubby gain weight rapidly. Based on how heavy he weighs now, I think he would need the best fat burners to help him lose that excess fats. Anyway, he'll soon start his proper diet and cut offs his junk foods intake, sugar dosage and will only eat healthy foods and exercising as plan. It is one of the reason why I can't wait for the day that we move in to the new house. Lack of space have something to do with our diet. As I said, things should get better in a bigger house. No doubt!

Losing weight in a normal way...

Hubby and I watched this special programmed about how to lose weight in the TV couple nights ago. We found out that eating healthily has a lot to do of keeping our metabolism works well. So, metabolism pills shouldn't be needed if we can keep our balance diet every day. If we are exercised throughout the day then as we sleep our metabolism still continue working and melting those extra calories we had for the day. So, a healthy diet, exercise and proper sleeping routine is all we have to do to lose weight. Does it sound hard? Well, looks like I am struggling to keep a healthy diet and exercise but now that I know, I will give it a try. Finger cross though!

First day at work

Monday was my first day of back to work and it was great to find out that everyone was looking forward of my come back. Spoke to my manager beforehand and she said I am expected! My supervisor was delighted to have me back too because she knew that she can rely on my when it comes to OT on weekends. Been working on that retail store for over 4 years now and just a year of leave made me all so nervous again. But it went just fine on my first day of returning to work and Rose was really a great help. Everything was new and re-arranged so I was not sure where to look for most of the stuff. Now, I'm all refresh and ready to go to work by Friday again. Thanks to Bea - a good friend of mine who babysit my little baby. And hubby for dropping me off and picking me up. Plus, a delicious dinner when I came home. How lovely!

Online shopping in a rainy days like this...

It has been raining all week here in our area and gladly hubby work most of the time so, he drop the kids to school most of the mornings. The rain started on Tuesday night and from that it continuously falling until today. I was going to do some shopping but I haven't got a chance at all. Luckily, there is always online to fall back on to. So, right now I am busy browsing for many things in Ebay and some of my favourite online store. Then, I came across of this unfamiliar word, acetyl carnitine any idea what is it? Well, I am about to find out in a second as I am heading to its site. Ah, the joy of online shopping really. We always find many exciting things in between but its all part of the fun, right. I hope to find the things that I am actually looking in the first place though. Wish me luck!

Drooling food on NYE

Above photo are the scrumptious mouth-watering food that Kuya J and Anna made on New Year's eve party. It was such a happy celebration with friends and we all stayed until midnight. Me and my family went home around 1am and the rest stayed until late morning or after lunch. I super enjoyed that night and so everyone else. We plan to do the same thing by the summer. Barbecue in Pinoy style such as, chicken feet, legs, intestine and name it all. Ah, its really good to have friends around not many though but they are all true and not to mention really good cook. Well, they were only once a chef in Shangrila hotel in Manila. Not a big deal, eh?

I'm ready to learn...

I'm still counting the days and the more I count the longer it takes. Patience is all I can tell to myself for now. I am desperate for a long time to have that space and kitchen that I want. I cannot stop having thoughts of painting and redecorating my kids room and picturing it out made me more excited. Besides all that, I also have to consider taking a driving lesson. I hope it won't take that long to get a driving license. I can't imagine how easy life would be once I get to drive on my own car. I can just go wherever I want to without waiting for hubby to take me. I know the hassle of paperworks and keeping track on car insurance but I'll worry about it later. Besides, I can always seek advice from the expert and looks like this carinsurancelist.com is very promising. I'll go and browse their site and to see how its like. I have to prepare myself for all this because even if I have hubby who is willing to do it all for me, but still its better that I can also be reliable in regards of all this things. I have to stand on my own feet otherwise I'll depend on hubby for the rest of my life. I'll get there in the end as I am always ready to learn.

Back to work in 2 days

Too soon that is! But, I am excited at the same time because, it only means I can start to earn again. I am desperate for cash these days especially after the holidays where I spent every penny I've got left in my bank for presents and clothes. Now, I am broke or worst, skint! So, working back may not be a bad thing at all. My bank account will be delighted to get my first paycheck, lol. Anyway, talking about working, I would love to get involved in some tech jobs in the future. But right now, all I can do is to continue working as a part-time while I pursue my education. And who knows, if I get qualified I can then get a job on tech. Sounds like a plan, ain't it?

New year's party

Though 2010 was not the greatest but still I was a little sad bidding goodbye to it. But, I am much happier welcoming a brand new year 2011 and I know this year will be great. Our new years eve was spent with friends and really had blast! Tons of food and goodies as expected and the kids even enjoyed with they were handed some party sweets. Here's a photo below and the rest can be viewable in here...
