Hubby's Fave Watch

When I met hubby one of the thing I first noticed was his watch. I thought his watch was a little grungy already. He then told me later on that it's his favourite watch ever. He bought it 10 years ago for just £100 pounds something and I was kinda thinking that perhaps he needs a new one. But he just ignored me for he love his festina watch so much because according to him it is very comfortable. I must say now, that it is certainly a quality watch that could last many years. Hubby's watch is one real proof. Festina watches are definitely one of a kind, high quality and affordable. So, I fancy to have one for myself. Perhaps it could be my wedding anniversary gift.

Pre-Booster Shots give's Kath Fever

My daughter had her pre-booster shots on Thursday and she was then fine yesterday morning until I saw around her mouth that was surrounded with black. At first I thought it was only a bit of chocolate she was eating but then later on I realised that it wasn't but a bit of soreness. So, I later thought it might be the side effect of her pre-booster shots the day before. I wasn't sure but I remembered the nurse who gave the shots was talking about some side effects. Today, my daughter was off-colour so I decided this is it. The side effect got her, so she had a little temperature. I already dosed her with Calpol and hopefully she fell better real soon. I don't like it when any of my kids is not feeling well, if only I could take the sickness away from them, I would certainly do that. [SIGH]

New Haircut

This is the new me, lol. Well, I had my haircut done few days ago and guess what? I did it all by myself, lol. I always wanted to have a shorter hair before spring or summer because if I know my hair will be more dry than it is now. My hair can't stand sun heat it get sticky and I hate it. Shorter hair is easy to maintain and look after. So, there we go I am ready to rock n' roll in the next seasons.

By the way, its already 6pm here and time for me to cook dinner. I was gonna do some online shopping for some wall fountains but I guess I gotta do it later when the kids are all in bed. Alright, that's the plan and I really have to get my a** up here in the PC and cook food for the hungry monsters.

Tonight's Dinner

This is what we had tonight a spagetti bolognaise. I decided to make one since it was quite a while ago when we had spagetti. It's my kids favourite dish and hubby too. I love cooking food for them whenever I am free (if I am not at work). They certainly love it and it also makes me happy to see them enjoying good food that I personally made. We had some left over for my lunch tomorrow, lol. It'll be my son and I since hubby and Kath will be both out to work and school. I already marinated some chicken for our dinner tomorrow. I like to plan ahead sometimes, hehehe.

Perfect Birthday Gift

This pic was taken a year ago during our wedding anniversary. We just had a little celebration with the family and since it was also my sister in-law's 40 birthday. We had wines during the meal and after and got a little sober afterwards but I was certainly enjoying the good taste of red wines. I had a very little knowledge about wines but hubby and his family are certainly experts. So, now I know a little about it. Sometime ago, Hubby showed me his Dad wines storage at the bottom of their house. The entire underground is where he keeps and stored his wine. He got thousands their and all of it are good ones. He has a favourite shop where he ordered boxes and boxes of wines. And oh, hubby's dad will celebrate his birthday soon and we still haven't got a present to give. I guess I have to check gold medal wine shop to see if there is anything for him to buy. I should order this wine of the month and taste it myself. I'm sure it'll be the best and perfect gift to give to him next week.

Sea-Life and Zoo

The first winter/spring outing of the year was last Saturday. We went to Chessington World of Adventure as they have this newly opened Sea-life but to our dismay it was not as big as Brighton and London one. But still we enjoyed the trip especially my kids. They always appreciate things like this. They love the Sea-life as well as the Zoo. That is why we like taking them out as much as we could because it's worth seeing the excitement on their faces. Anyway, I was about to go to the bed but then I suddenly remembered that I had to check out a sleep number bed in case there is a new deal available. I would love to have a spare bed at the kids bedroom.

Fave texture

I have been downloading loads of textures and so far I am having fun playing with it. I always bought magazines every week and sometimes I even splurge out and buy more than 2. I often get free video tutorials and this time I got free textures and borders and I am about to find out how to apply it in my pictures. I tried the textures and it works. I am also learning on how to design textures. I've done one and still I am working out how to do the fancy ones but depending on my patience because I can run out my patience easily at times. Right now, I am just happy of playing textures. And here's the best so far.........

He is more than Fine

My son second day of school went fine. I had to leave him for the first time and that made me teary-eyed a bit. My daughter was with me and keep telling me not to worry as he will be fine. I just saw him crying a bit when I was about to leave and calling for Mummy. Ah, he is not used to it because from birth we are inseparable. He used to be with mummy until I start working. It's the same feeling when I first left him with a friend who used to babysit him and hearing him crying for mummy is the most hurtful scene. But somehow he has to used with the idea and so do I. Hubby has to explain that leaving the kids is good for me and for them too. It helps them build a trust that Mummy or Daddy will be coming back again. My son is used to my friend now who babysit them and he is happy everytime I left him with her. But the school is something new for him and will eventually adapt the routine. He is actually fine according to the teacher when I spoke to her during pick-up time. He only cries for 1 minute when I was leaving and was fine soon as they got out in the playground. When I picked him up he was smiling and happy and don't want to go home anymore. So, I think it's only me being emotional as my son is now grown up and is started schooling. I'll get used to it again just like the processed between me and my daughter 5 years ago.

Still a Romantic Gentleman!

Hubby never changed after all. He is still the same man I met the 7 years ago, who is very romantic, gentle, wonderful, loving and thoughtful. I never expect anything from him as he was already giving me loads of advance Heart's day gifts weeks ago and yet he still manage to surprised me. On Valentines day he even took us out for dinner and it was such a beautiful time together with our kids. He never failed to
celebrate the Love's day as always. I can never asked for more for Hubby got all the assets that I have dreamt for since when I was just a teenager. Faithful, loyal, family man, and only have eyes for me. I know many other guys who still looking for sexy girl even they are married and still drool like a dog even if they are walking along with their wife and for me that is not acceptable. I'm so thankful I have the man who is content and married me because of true LOVE.

My Son is now Pre-Schooling

On thursday was my son's first day in School (proper school). Hubby and I decided to send him to pre-school since he turned 3 years old a month ago. Our daughter went to playgroup as young as 2 and a half years old. She was more independent than our son and she loves schooling since then. Our son was opposite because the day when we had to go registered him (9th of Feb 2009, monday morning), he burst into tears while holding on to his Daddy's trousers, lol. So, the teacher and us decided that on his first day( the 12th of Feb 2009)one of us had to let him settle meaning we had to stay with him in the school for few weeks. And since hubby had to go to work I was the one who walk with him on his very first day. Actually with the big Sister because she is on her half-term break (school holiday). It's her first school here in England anyway so, she wanted to see her former teachers and surprisingly they remembered her after 3 good old years, lol. Anyhow, I observed during my son's first day that he is too confident around with other kids. He was not a shy type at all. He played, he chatted, he did was he was told to do and he seems to be enjoying it a lot. After his first session, he told me how fun it was and looking forward for his second day. At the moment we only paid once a week session just to get him started then we will see later how he settled and maybe add couple of days to it. Plus, it's kind of pricey too so we are also waiting for the free vouchers in couple months time so we can save a bit.

I am too proud of my son's development and he definitely a smart boy and very confident which is good. So, I took couple of shots during his first day just for keepsake.





And soon as we arrived home we are reminded that by next week we had to bring a pair of slippers for him and some extra clothes as well as wellies. So, I guess we know what slippers we are taking, hehehehe.

We are still looking for stereo cabinet since we move back here in our old place. Hubby is very picky regarding how to choose good furniture for the house. That is why until now we are yet looking for the right one. I now found a online store that offers great range of stereo cabinets and what is even more great is, they have some good deals that offer free shippings. January 2009 Calendar

This is what I made out of my January PAD project 2009. These are the photos for the whole January 2009. I didn't start early but it's ok. Hubby thought I could put our New Years day photos but I thought I better not cheat, lol. I have photos from January 1,3,4,6 & 7. So I missed the 2nd and 5th so I decided to start on the 8th and forward. I hope I can complete this project all the way and could make my Calendar 2009 printed at the end of this year. For now, I am happy to finally complete the first month and made a calendar out of it.

Diet Pills for Hubby

I just found out lately how good diet pills are through my friend. She told me she start using it earlier last year and she definitely lost weight few months after and now she is nearly reaching to her target weight. I'm so jealous! How I wish I had started the same day as she did? But now, all I can do is to start taking it and perhaps convince hubby too. He is my main target because he has a big belly and it continuously growing year after year. I know it's not good for him and I do care about his health and I am trying very hard to get him involved to some activities such as swimming, walking and playing. But it ain't enough so, I kind of thinking that diet pills would do him better. He has to lose weight before its too late.

My Son's first Antibiotic

On Monday, we took our son to the Doctor because he has this redness on his bits. I thought it was a nappy rash or anything related to it. He is using potty on day time but still wearing a big boy pants on night time. We aren't sure about what had cause it and it certainly hurting him. But he does pee and poo normally. To be sure, we took him to his Doctor and thanks goodness there is nothing serious to worry about. What he got was a little rashes that got infected and too glad we took him early or it could have been worst if we didn't. So, the Doctor's prescrived him with Anti-biotic and some cream to put on every after changing. His first Antibiotic ever.

Anyway, I also decided to change their Vitamins because I noticed lately that Christian spat his Vits out. So, I switch from chewable to Syrup plus their Multivitamins too. I optend Omega fish oil because I've heard its good.

Desperate to Lose Weight

Me and hubby and definitely gaining more and more weight each year. I mean I noticed that our old clothing from the year before will not fit us anymore the next year. I am struggling to fit any pants I had a year ago and that is so depressing. My thighs are also getting chunkier and so are my tummy. Hubby is the same too. He is certainly putting on a lot of weight compare to when I first met him. I guess, it's about time for us to make a change of our diet. We really need to be fit and healthy especially that this year hubby has been suffering back pain. That's because of his bigger belly. I just can't wait for the summer to come so we can be more active again and can do more activities outdoor. That would surely help! In the mean time we should be considering on taking diet pills. Well, having said that, I have to check out the best weight loss pills available. And I really do hope that we would lose weight and will reach to our target by the end of this year. That means no more fattening food, junks and etc. Finger cross!

Bubbles Shots!

My kids were very good during their meal times one time in the cafe at work. So, as their reward I bought them each a bubbles. They were very excited and so they played with it soon as we got home. Kath had a friend's upstairs who came down and played with bubbles too. The 3 of them had so much and I was also having fun taking pictures of each bubbles. It was very challenging to take a good shots as it always pop before I can even click my camera. But I got few good ones out of a hundreds, lol. I would like to share my fav shots......

For Heart's Day

What is the drama of this pic? I just made this since it's Valentines day and also it relates to the programme I have been following for sometime now. It's a filipino teleserye titled "Tawong Dalawa". I just like the story and also I like Jake Cuenca and Alex De Rossi. I also like Kim and Gerald because they are such a good actors. So, that is why I came out with the idea of making a heart frame for our pics together, lol. Me and hubby forever.....lol! Sounds like a teenager, huh?

Anyway, before I do some more scrapping I'll just need to check out

Advance Greetings

Only couple days from now and it'll be Valentines day. Everyone are excited to celebrate this occasion with their love ones. In our end here, we might celebrate it with the kids maybe go dine out after my work. I have to go work in the morning and hopefully there will be plenty of times to celebrate the heart's day. Presents is not a big deal, the important will be the love and the thoughts. I might just grab a little something for hubby tomorrow after my work. Then do a little something for the kids. I already had my valentines presents last week and in fact that was more than enough. Yesterday I was able to scrap again and here's our Valentines layout...

I'm Gaining Weight

I can certainly say that I'm gaining so much weight this winter and you know why? It's because I don't do anything at all apart from sat on my PC all day and only get up when I need to cook food. How can that be so impossible to put on weight? I sometimes look at myself in the mirror and get depressed of how much weight I put on for just this winter. My gosh, I definitely need to do something to get rid of this excess meat in my belly. I can assure you, if you see me wobbly belly you will be disgust. Hubby always tell lie how good I look just to make me feel better as I complain and whined a lot to him on how chubby I look. I may have to consider taking diet pills. Tonight, I have a browsed through online and found some best diet pill that I could possibly take. I just have to make sure it won't have any side effects but then I won't know unless I try one.

Light Blue D&G fragrance

On Friday after work, I dragged hubby to the fragrances corner to show him that they are on half price sale. It works for he bought me the D&G light blue as I have been wanting to try this fragrance. Now, I finally have it and it seems very mild and I can use it daily too. I am glad I wasn't tempted to buy before because now we only paid half plus staff discount. How cool is that?

Summer Getaway Plans

I am saddened to know that our trip to Philippines this year is cancelled. The reason was because of my sister. She is not actually graduating this year in October but earlier next year. I plan to attend her graduation and so we cancelled our trip until next year in March 2010. I really hope by that time there will be no more reasons for cancelations. I so missed my homeland and my family but I had to wait for a year still before I am able to visit them. Time flies and before I know it'll be 2010, lol. Anyway, we plan for a summer getaway this year and I am assuming we will go Disneyland in Paris of not in America. I saw hubby last night looking out for travel deals online and I am kinda excited about it. I think the kids are big enough for Disney trip and summer could be the best time to go. I'll just hope we are ready for it physically and financially, lol. Finger cross!

Hubby needs to lose weight

Hubby is getting bigger every year and I think it's because of not doing any exercise at all and eating food that are rich in calories and fats. He is into buger and Pizza's so no wonder he is gaining weight. Most of his shirt don't even fit him anymore and already is a double XL size of clothing. He doesn't look bad or too fat because he is tall but that is not an excuse to eat more or not do anything about it. I get so upset sometimes because he just don't care and I do. I wanted him to at least be active and do some walking or swimming to help him trim down bit by bit. Or perhaps he could try taking weight loss pills before he go completely overweight or suffer from obesity. Nah, he really needs something to lose some weight.

Early Valentines Presents

I have been very spoilt by hubby eversince I met him. Every occasion I tend to get more than what I need. I can't name it all but I am just so thankful from the bottom of my heart for giving me such a great and amazing husband in the world. I know, that I can be very stubborn at times and very hard to deal but he always try to understand. He sure has a huge heart. Lately, he's been buying loads of stuff for me such perfumes, make up kits and etc. He already spent £200 pounds for my Mary Kay's stuff plus some other bits and pieces. As well, the other day we bought my newest fragrance brand. But I told him, the Mary Kay would be my early Valentines present but I know he would get me some more in due course. Anyway, the last Valentines day I got a new handbag and purse plus flowers and chocolates. This time...I try to get him something special too, I'll see what I can do...for now let me share you the things I recently got from him.....

A not so Happy Hubby

Hubby has begging me to not say "YES" to overtime on weekends anymore. I think he wanted to spend some quality time as a family. However, when my manager asked me for OT I seems can't refused. "NO" seems to be the hardest word, lol. Yeah, I have been overtime during weekends sincce last year. I thought overtime was over after Christmas because of credit crunch. I thought we were going to cut some staff off but seems we want more. The store are getting more busy over the weeks. That is why my managers are asking me weeks after weeks to work. Tomorrow, we are supposed to out shopping for bathroom safety but I guess its going to be cancelled until Sunday. I told hubby to have a search through online and pick the some then we'll decide which one to buy later on. But, he is not talking to me at the moment. I hope he'll get over his sulking mode soon or I'll be miserable the whole night just because I didn't say no to the overtime. He is definitely getting old and moody, hehehehe. Shhhhhhhhh....don't tell him!

First Layout this year!

I have visited my favourite designer's shop and as usual was tempted by all those lovely kits and bought some. I actually bought one from Holly designs and two from Jofia. Then after, I decided to make a layout and here's I came up with....and my first digital layout for 2009.

Promotional Pens

On Christmas my Kath was given this personalised pens by her Granny and Grandad. She is so happy about it and has been using it quite a lot. It kinda cool too when you have your named written in every pencils as well as on the pencil case. Hubby and I fancied having one, lol. Oh well, I told hubby he could just get some
promotional pens as he needed it most for his work. He agreed but don't know where to look for it. Until a friend of ours shared a website that sells one, (www.usimprints.com) and sure we had a look at it and yet undecided.

Heaviest Snow for 18 years

Our heaviest snow for 18 years has fall on the first day of this month. Our area was not that heavy but thicker that we have had so far. The other part of the country was even more thicker and reaches to 3 foot. It has been the worst snow in Britain after 18 years. I love it and it's my first to experience 2 days of snowing. So, I took loads of photos with my kids too. You can view it here...
