Looking for TV stands?

Hubby bought his 46 inches HD television for the first time about 8 months ago. He has this 200 hrts Samsung HD 1080 and I thought that was amazing flat screen LCD. It was a treat for himself for a long time. However, he is looking for another HD LCD that is a little bit bigger such as 50 inches or more. He already ordered one from friend who work in a Sony and he also suggest that he'll go BIG e.i 70 inches. I was like, what the heck? That is definitely too big but I'll see what he is going to get pretty soon. I'm sure if he that big he has to have a good tv stands or even tv mount. I asked I'll do it for I know exactly where to buy tv stands online.

Anyway, moving along, I joined this PAD photography 2009 and recently I'm feeling bored and just don't have the energy to picture any exciting things so I went for the easiest and quickest option which is taking picture of myself through reflection. So, here's the latest of my PAD entries.

A little Something for my Parents

Papa has been asking me for a watch last year and the reason why it took me this long to buy one is because I was debating whether I'll get him the one he specifically asked or get a better one. Typical Papa who asked only for a "Seiko Five- Automatic" that he used to have for 15 years and it only got broken a year ago. So, a "Replacement" is what he asked for! So, just on Sunday when hubby and I decided to shop one last time for my balikbayan box. We bought quite a lot of clothing and that includes footwears too. Then headed to look for Papa's watch and we compared prices before we finally decided. And in the end, I decided to splurged out a bit and get what best for Papa and pay a little bit more. Since hubby decided to pay all the rest of the shopping I had all the money to buy my Papa a nice watch. I was gonna get him Kenetic type but what I got is more than what he asked for and he better like it because it's not that cheap, hehehe. Both Him and Mama have a special treat from me to celebrate their 40 years being together!

Nuts Chocs and Pencils

After work, we went grocery shopping with the kids and I was starving and couldn't wait to eat so, I grabbed some snacks to fuel me in and sugary does the trick. The M&M nuts chocs is my choice. While strolling the mall I was also busy munching the nuts chocs. We shopped specifically food and also some for my balikbayan box. I got these pencils with cute toppers for my neices and newphews back in Pinas. They sure would love it.

Mary Kay

Last night I had Mary Kay's consultant who came to consult my skin and to suggest what's the best product to use. I had a great time trying different body products but I was only most interested in facial ones. I am very into facial and wanted a product that control my blemeshis and dryness. Indeed she showed me the best one that I definitely go for without doubt. And what makes it even more nicer is when I don't need to spend any single penny because hubby paid it all. Too right, it was his idea after all, lol. Anyway, I am yet to try their glamour products sometime next weekend. I can't wait! Who know's I become a Mary Kay's consultant....hahaha. Am I too ambitious? Honestly, I don't have the guts.

I'm Glad

that this blog was removed from you know....other blogging company and now has been receiving more opps from the other one. It has been removed 6 months ago and now it's happy and has more updates that it used to, be it paid blogging or not.

Anyway, aside from blogging I also enjoy my other so called "HOBBY" such as Photography and scrapping. Most of all, I enjoy my job and looking after my kids when I am not working. My kids are sure treasures to behold. I love cooking food for them everyday. My daughter is now so grown up and has a mind of her own already. My son is now sleeping on his own bed for 4 nights already. Plus, he does go to the Loo when he weewee and Pooop! So, we are all doing fine here in our end although we got a little chill but we will get over it soon.

Before I end this post, let me share you a picture of my kids together with their ice Lollies. I thought they look so cute....ice lollies makes them sit still on the camera, hehehe.

Few more things to buy

and my balikbayan box will be done and ready for shipping. It's only a month gap since I sent the last one and this time it's hubby's expense. I think I already mention about it in my previous post. Anyway, I am keen to have my box pick up this weekend because its too big for our living room and it gives us less space. So, after my work today I hope to shop and buy these few things I need to buy for my box. I have to get Papa his trainer shoes, Dvd player and a new watch too. Also have to get Mama new watch and of course a Slingbox for my younger brother as his late birthday presents. I haven't give him anything on his birthday because I didn't know what to give only now he told me that it's what he wanted. This will be my package for a while not until October again. Huh, its not so cheap sending packages to Philippines, you know. But I shouldn't complain because it's hubby's idea and it's his money, hehehe. I should be grateful, eh?

Playstation 3

Last christmas when I went shopping for hubby's gift I saw these awesome playstation 3 and thought of getting it for myself. I really fancy to have one and I told hubby afterwards and he says the same thing. He also fancy of having one, however; its not our priority at the moment. So, I am thinking of getting him one on his birthday. I still have few months to save for it so I can then afford to buy one as his birthday presents. I will what I can do. There is Valentines coming first but I think I'll just gave him chocolates or it should be him giving me chocolates and flowers, hehehe. Anyway, just an idea for his birthday presents if not I let her Mother know so we can buy as a joint present.

Hubby's Dream House

Hubby's dream house

Everyone is allowed to dream and have their own mind and views about their dream. I would sometimes asked hubby why this house? For it seems too old and need some really good job done as it has already lots of scraped and scratched or damaged. He said its not about the outside appearance but its the total style and shape. For him its like a castle and he thinks its really cool. But hey, you can't understimate the house price because it's way too expensive. I can't afford it even I work my whole life not unless I win the Lottery jackpot, lol. So, I took a picture of this house since it's on the way to my FIL place. So, hubby will have it print and framed for his office, hahahaha. [KIDDING]!

Winter Appetite

I don't know whats with winter why I seems to eat a lot more than the rest of the seasons. My day won't be complete without rice and soup. Hubby sometimes think I eat too much rice which he thinks is not nutritious but more on calorie. I often whined and whinged about gaining few kilos and how much I wanted to lose some of it. But I can't insist of eating more and cookign more. I think my body is telling me to eat and perhaps I need it to survive these very cold winter. I'm afraid winter here last very long just like the rest of the Europe. I don't understand why. Sometimes I envy to those who live in the country where is not so cold all the time. Here when it hits Autumn and spring are still cold enough to snow. Summer is not that hot too. We are only lucky if there is a day or two that we will reach 25 degrees about 75 farenheit. So, the connection is the colder it is the more I wanted to eat. So, I am scared before I reached 30 I'll be fatter that anyone of my family. I guess I have to use Fenphedra to burn my fats. Gladly, there is always a way. Anyway, here's some of my food I eat daily..a native filipino dish (TINOLANG MANOK). Who can resist the temptation? My kids love it! We had it the other day and now we are craving for it again. [LOL]

Shopping for my Family

Today, I went out shopping and I came home with loads of goodies. I nearly filled the 2 Jumbo box. I finally bought Mama the shoes she asked for and I hope she like it. Hubby said, its her kind of shoes and he is sure my Mother would love it. I just want to have one last trip to the mall this weekend so I can check out some bargains at my favourite shops and who knows I can get Papa a trainer shoes too. I have so many exciting goodies for my family. I know it's not even 2 months since I sent one but hey this is hubby's idea and who would refuse such offer? His expense and my family benefits. Isn't it a great deal? So, I did take advantage of his idea, hahaha.

Anyway, I was gonna browse some DVD player online for my Papa but I got caught to read this very interesting Hydroxycut reviews. It's fascinating idea! I really wanted to trim down before summer comes so I guess I'll have to consider using fat burner. What do you think?

We're sick!

Is this time of month again that sickness are floating around. Poor my son for he got cold and nasty cough since monday. My daugther just started coughing yesterday. When I picked her up from school I already knew she wasn't well. Me, I had runny nose the other day and it just got worst today. Hubby was not feeling well last night too. Our son is the first one who got it and passed it around to us. I just hope we fell better soon because being sick is not at all fun.

Lose a Pound at Least

I certainly have gain weight over the holiday after eating endless sweats, fattening food and junks. I said to myself I shouldn't complain as it was done with my heart contents however, gaining few kilos is certainly unflattering because I can see I become more and more round and shapeless which I don't want to be. I hope to stop my growing belly soon by either going to the Gym of buy my personal fitness equipment so I can do exercise anytime when I fell like it. I have to persevere really otherwise I'll turn like a drum, yucks. I fancy having treadmill here in our apartments not only for me but for hubby as well because he certainly does need to lose that chunky belly he has for years. I love to bits but I also want him to trim it down a bit and exercise can also give us a healthier lifestyle. I honestly want to lose a pound at least before spring.

My son is turning 3 tomorrow

My son will officially be 3 yrs old tomorrow and that we are thankful that he has been so healthy all these years. Because of that, we decided to have few celebrations. First, we had an advance b-day party for him together with my friend's 8 months old boy celebration. So, what we did was joint the day and we prepared lots of food.

I have provided all the ingredients and they did all the cooking which I think was a great deal for me. [LOL]! Definitely we had so much fun and of course the kids especially the celebrants (Christian and Lance- the 8 mo's old boy). Here are few photos to share.

Another Goodies for my Family

Yes, I am super busy every single hour. Even more now that I am back to work. There is so much for me to do after the holiday and gosh I have no idea when I can actually finish them. We just moved and that we have so much stuff that need organising plus kids, nah it certainly stressed me out. How I wish I have some people to help me but hell the cost of it, lol.

Anyway, I am still surviving and of course enjoying my photography. I even started to take a photo everyday and pic the best one to put into my 2009 photography. I hope I can complete them althrough the year.

Moving along, I have ordered another super Jumbo balikbayan box couple weeks ago and now I can barely close it. It just shows how much crap we have stored. We are trying to minimised our clutters here in our apartments so I went all through my kids clothes, toys and etc and pick the one they hardly touch/used/play and put it in my box for the family in Pinas. Hubby also shopped for something exciting to put into my box and we will have a run through to the mall before we finally seal it. I know there are plenty of bargains everywhere since its still January sale. I hope to get more goodies for my family.

Here's few I consider exciting goodies for them.....I hope it'll arrived safe. Fingers cross!

Wonderful Birthday!

I have celebrated my 27th birthday yesterday and it was truly a blast. I may not have the the extravagant party but for my age that is not necessarily needed. All I want for my birthday was my husband and kids to spend it with. For me that is something extra-ordinarily special. However, my husband and kids made it even more special by giving me wonderful birthday surprises. I've got a new Coach handbag and wallet. And hubby spoilt me more by giving me another surprised later in the evening (not what you think it is..) but a Speedlite, new accessories for my camera. Honestly, I didn't expect any more surprised after they handed me my birthday surprises earlier of that day. I was truly spoilt by them, as always.

Also, I wanna thanked all my friends for sending their love and greetings via SMS, YM, Friendster, hotmail and facebook. It was all greatly appreciated. To my family, I was truly touched by the birthday greetings you've sent. I felt so special on my day. Thank you so much guys!

Still Christmassy

It's getting really cold in here and still the worst to come. For weeks now, we are suffering from Minus-0 temp and always frosty every morning. Cars are actually frozen and so does our garage. It is about to snow again and it has been snowing the other part of the country. This winter is much colder than the previous one and I wish I am somewhere in tropical places where I can enjoy the sun. But, this is the life I choose to live, so be it!

Anyway, today we went to the old pad and clearing some rubbish out and also clean out the kitchen. Hubby managed to washed the carpet and I was busy dusting. By next week we will move back in to our apartments again and probably stay there for 8 months or so depending on Kath's schooling.

By the way, tomorrow we are going to London and go see the Doctor Who exhibition. Its more for the kids than me actually. It's for Kath and Christian treat as they are a big fan of this program. Daddy already reserved 5 tickets and that is including my sister in-law. So, we will meet up tomorrow at 1pm in Victoria Station then drive down to Earl's Court for the exhibition. I hope the weather will cooperate i.e it will not snow otherwise I'll be stuff. I so hate cold weather, my body is not design for it.

Anyway, here's another few Christmassy photos during our Christmas Lunch at my Mother in-law's place.

Happy New Year!

Goodbye 2008! Welcome 2009! Happy New Year to all! I hope 2009 will bring us good health!

Our new year was good and was spent with my family with nibbles and champagne. Earlier in the night we played Musical Statue and kids enjoyed it. Hubby and I prepared some food and of course fruits and coins. Its my supertitious belief, lol. Anyway, we had watch the London fireworks displaya and new years party and it was spectacular. Will share photos later soon as I've done uploading them.

For now, let me share you our Post-Christmas nibbles at my Father in-law's place. As usual he served nibbles first with pink champange but I had to drink tea because I wasn't feeling well. Here's the nibbles that FIL served for a start while waiting the Lunch to be cooked.
